Margi asks that we pray for our Region 111 Spring Encounter in Pittsburg this weekend! She says, "I ask you to keep me in mind Saturday as I give a rollo on Normality, one of the charisms of our movement." and for Bobbi LaVoie who will lead the Spring Encounter.
She comments:
I also rejoice that our Priests, Deacons and vowed Religious are recognized in this weeks Catholic Courier. What a blessing they are as they witness God's love in our world.
Finally she notes:
And, it is with great sadness that I report the loss of Sean O'Toole, son of Ted and Sharon O'Toole, from cancer. Please pray for Sean's family, especially Ted and Sharon who have done so much for our Church and the Cursillo Movement. De Colores, Margi Lash

Please pray for my parents. Mom is in the St. James Hospital in Hornell for the time being evaluated for possible brain injury, she fell head first into a wall, and then could not walk or speak coherently. She fell again after Dad & Tom got her up. EMTS came about 2 a.m. And this March 23rd is Mom's 76th Birthday. Dad's short term recall is failing memory wise. We still don't know why. We appreciate your prayers. DeColores!

Please pray for Taylor, a little boy with a brain tumor who had to withdraw from a clinical trial and without the medications has a poor chance for recovery. The second request is for Daacon Dan Hurley, who has served the Cursillo Movement for a number of years. Dan has been diagnosed with cancer. Deacon Dan was featured last month in the Catholic Courier

Below is the link to the obituary of Dr. D (Dr. Dominic DiVincenzo), wife of Cursillista, Barb Di Vincenzo and father of Cursillista, Tom DiVincenzo.
After giving up his medical practice in 1990, Dr. D worked with his wife, Barbara and then with his son Tom on managing St. John’s Religious Shop and Bookstore (currently Divine Mercy Religious Shop Ministries) for many years until the start of Covid.
Doctor D, Barbara, and Tom frequently attended Hilton Ultreya.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of our much beloved “Dr. D.”
May he Rest In Peace now and forever.

Rose Carnegie's granddaughter Heidi, the mother of newborn twins, is now in the ED with a serious infection that has left her whole body bruised. Please pray that the doctors will be able to diagnose and treat her infection and she can return home to her babies. And keep Rose in prayer as she prepares for knee surgery on March 17. Margi Lash

Prayer request for Dominic DiVincenzo who suffered a Stroke, Dom is the husband of Cursillista, Barb DiVincenzo and the father of Cursillista, Tom DiVincenzo. I grouped with Barb DiVincenzo for many years and the family, including Dominic, attended the Hilton Ultreya, whenever able.
Dominic and Barb founded the St. John’s Religious Shop in Spencerport many, many years ago. Until recently this shop was connected to the Diocese of Rochester.
When the shop could no longer exist in connection with the Diocese, Tom Divincenzo moved forward and the shop is currently an independent non profit religious shop-the name of which has been changed to Divine Mercy Religious Shop and is managed by Tom DiVincenzo and a number of dedicated volunteers. A separate Board oversees the workings of the shop. The DiVincenzo family has provided an invaluable service to our diocese for countless years.

Please keep Deacon Gary Terrana and his wife Gail in your prayers. He has a tumor and will have surgery in March. Deacon Gary and Gail have served the Cursillo Movement on a national and world level and were friends of Eduardo Bonnin. Deacon Gary is at peace and has wonderful doctors, including the Great Physician. Let us support him with our friendship and love by keeping them in our prayers.

Keep my dad Chuck, Men's #16 from Hornell in your prayers. He experienced weakness trying to stand up and dizziness and they are keeping him in the hospital tonight. Dr is concerned he might have experienced a heart episode of some sort... or possible diabetic sugar low, so we don't know any answers medically yet. DeColores, Mary Liz
