Women's 89 will also be postponed from June until the Fall hopefully. The Secretariat is working on keeping everyone connected online with updates as we learn more about quarantine because we have such a large family over wide geographical range.
I, Mary Liz Bartell, am pleased to announce I have accepted to rector the Women's 89 Cursillo, June 18-21 at Notre Dame. I am asking for your prayers for my team and the candidates.
I also need your help.
If you're interested in joining this W89 team, or any future team, Our new team flyer outlines the qualities that build authentic and true practitioners of the Cursillo Method. The team members must attend regular Ultreyas, be actively Grouping, and also participate in School of Leaders or other Cursillo learning opportunities such as the Step by Step, CDC, CLW Cursillo Leaders Workshops, & CEW Evangelization Workshops, etc.
If you'd like to be selected for teaming in the future these will be the standard criteria regardless of past team experience. It's important that we have teams that are living witnesses of Christ who walk the walk, not by giving Rollos that are empty of the foundational charism. It's by living the Method that Cursillo builds friendships in Christ.
The new teaming Manual is available in a PDF file for those pre-registered for taking the Step by Step March 7 & April 25 in Geneva.
I hope you all pray about serving on future teams and recommit to the Method. Christ is counting on you.
